Fire and survival

Fire is essential to survival. It uses light and heat, it helps to dry wet clothes, to cook food, but also to signal to others. With fire morale of the survivors held high. We do not here deal with how to light a fire as this topic is covered under lights .We will deal with rather different means at our disposal to help us turn it on.
